Xiaomi’s partner Huami recently launched the Amazfit Bip 2 smartwatch. The smart wearable comes with some upgraded features which distinguish it from the first-gen Amazfit Bip 1.
The following is a comparison of the parameters:
Appearance: The Huami Amazfit Bip2 and Bip 1 both use the 2.5D Coring gorilla 3rd glass. The difference is that the Bip 2’s screen is 1.2 Inch, which is more suitable for wrist wear.
The charger cannot be used with different screen sizes of Bip2 and Bip 1.
Bip 2 adopts two-color wristband, the band width is 20mm which may be suitable with Bip 1.
Waterproof level: The Bip 2 is rated for 5ATM, which means it is more suitable for water sports than the Bip 1 with IP68. You can wear the Bip 2 to swimm.
Bluetooth version: The Bluetooth version of Bip 2 is 4.2, which improves the stability of Bluetooth connectivity in Bip 1.
The international version of Bip 2 has reduced the NFC function than the Chinese version, making the function more concentrated and reducing power consumption.
At the same time, Bip 2 has a standby time of 30 days, which is slightly inferior to Bip 1. However, it can still meet daily use and save the trouble of frequent charging.
