Big thanks to leolas on freaktab, he made a android 4.2 CWM zip file for you guys, and after we test, he can work great. so now you can flash your mk808 with CWM Recovery, if you don’t have windows OS PC or don’t know how to flash with RKBATCH tools, maybe you should love this.
And he also made some change in this update, he add the Rooted, so after you flash with the following way, you will get a rooted android 4.2.2 OS on your MK808.

Update instruction:
First you should follow this method to install CWM recovery on your MK808.
And then you should do the below instruction:
1. Download and copy it to a microsd and insert it in the stick.
2. Enter cwm recovery.
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. Advanced/wipe dalivick cache.
5. Mounts and storage/format sdcard.(recommended, can works without this step, but i suggest to do it. All data in internal sdcard will be lost)
6. Install zip from sdcard/choose zip from external sdcard/ Choose update-4.2.2-cwm.zip and install.
7. Reboot device.
The first boot is slow, you can wait 3 o 4 minutos, and when you enter in the system it will be slow and lagged, in next reboot it will be fine.

CWM has an option of backup/restore. Can it be used to restore all lost application installed on the internal sdcard?
Since I’ve install it ont my RK, Wifi can’t be turned on, error displayed on settings. Qué puedo hacer ? Do I need to install it again ?
what do you mean” i have installed it on my RK‘, the problem you met seems can be sloved via flash new firmware.
I just received more MK808 from Geekbuying that now come with 4.2.2 pre-loaded on them. The CWM won’t install on the 4.2.2 showing “error, no es un paquete de actualización válido”. Tengo 4 other MK808 that came pre-loaded with 4.1 that installed CWM no problem.
Any suggestions?
