1) Rooteado y SU y Superusuario según mi costumbre 4.1.1 ROMs.
2) I did quite a bit of clean up to init.rc and other junk that this ROM had and came from.
It was made for a tablet thus had stuff we do not need. I cleaned up as much as I could find.
This was not something I did for the MK908 ROM. I learned more doing this ROM.
3) I added a low level but very good busybox. It does not have everything but I like it for simplicity.
If you want you can install a larger busybox from Google Play.
4) Stock ROM era solo 1 Megs of APP space.

También hay 2gb, 4Opciones GB y 6GB.

7) This ROM does not have a built in “hide status bar”
It also allows screen rotation in APPs.
So I have added to APPs for you to use!
lleno!screen which is a cool APP that allows you to control hiding of the status bar.
Rotation Locker which will allow you to stop APPs from rotating the screen.

También dejé el build.prop original en la ROM llamado build.orig.
Si quieres volver, simplemente use ES FIle Explorer o un explorador de archivos raíz y cambie el nombre de build.prop a build.old
Luego cambie el nombre de build.orig a build.prop.
Ir a configuración, aplicaciones, todo y entra en la aplicación Google Play. Borrar el caché y los datos.
Reiniciar! Deberías volver a aparecer como un minis nexo x5.
9) This ROM does not have a built in power off.
Agregué una aplicación de reinicio que permitirá opciones de reinicio opcionales como reiniciar en el gestor de arranque. (modo flash).
Power off now works using this APP.
10) USB mass storage support.
Stock ROM this is set as a MTP device and there is no longer settings support to change it in 4.2.2!
I modified build.prop to change it from MTP to Mass Storage as I prefer this as it gives removable storage
for the external SDcard as well as internal SDcard.
On boot up if your connected to a PC you will get a start screen telling you USB is connected.
This is how a tablet works too. If you turn it on from this screen you will see your removable
drives on your PC.
I removed the USB on/off setting as it did not work at all so was useless.
This is also why I changed it to Mass storage.
If you want to change it back, just edit build.prop.
As reported: netflix, Hulu, xbox 360 controlador, and Droidmote , gameloft games all working in this ROM.

Netflix working but not xbmc, even with mx and all the other tricks. Not very happy @ this point. I wish geekbuying would put pressure on rk to release the kernel source code so bob at freaktab who’s instructions you copied above, can fix this !
I received 3 Tronsmart T428 and one T428 boots up with Green Android Man (Andy) laying on his back with Red Triangle on the Top error message. I unplug power and plug it several times but its same. I also flash firmware from Geekbuying Blob but same result.
I am not sure what should I do with other two T428? Those two T428 is working with 4.2.2 but there is not much room for XBMC, Facebook, Skype. I found out from the link below that I needs to flash 4.1.1

That also needs flash to correct. I did downloaded this firmware and using it on that Dead T428 but I am not getting any good result then I am afraid on flash this new 4.1.1 firmware on the 4.2.2 working sticks.
What if I flash the 4.1.1 firmware and those two T428 Sticks becomes dead?
Please let me know or let your techs advice me how to fix this problem and two pcs. of T428 downgrade.
Even if you flash to 4.1.1, theres still a shutter video issue with the kernel that bob identified at freaktab. Unless rockchip release there kernel as there legally supposed to, im afraid it will be a paper weight ! Come on geekbuying, get on there case!

UPDATE: I was able to install this room at the end! There is a missing file “misc_factory_test.img”en el archivo… I copied it from the other 4.1.1 room and everything worked fine! Sin embargo, with this room, I am still not able to connect to any VPN services!

I have read that some cannot get xbmc to work. I received mine a few days ago. Here is what happened. I went to xbmchub and downloaded MX player and the neon custom. It did not work. I removed both from my device. I then downloaded 12.1 and installed and it is working flawlessly. I read that many cannot get 12.1 to work, so its either hit and miss or something that happened when I installed the custom and then changed???
the download was actually from xbmcandroid and NOT xbmchub as stated above…sorry for the mistake.
