Por favor, tenga en cuenta, I read some comments about differnt borad on promethues, i have confirmed with factory, there is no different boards for Promethues, all of the tronsmart promethues can flash this new firmware,por favor no te preocupes.
Firmware update instruction:
If now you still run Android 4.1 in your Tronsmart Promethues, and want to update to this new android 4.2 firmware, what you should do is:
1. Open the download folder;
2. conseguirás 5 archivos, one read me file, and one XBMC apk;
3. Put these 5 archivos (don’t open zip file) in root of your SD card, then follow below upgrading method,
(1) Use a paperclip inserts to press the reset key which is at back side of the Android TV Box and hold it;
(2) Power on the Android TV Box (connect the AD adapter with device), wait for blue Led flash 3 times then release reset key;
(3) System will automatically upgrade. (Make sure power is not interrupted during the upgrading process); TV screen will still show no siginal when you are doing upgrade, pero no te preocupes, it is normal!
(4) After you wait for 5 minutos , the system will reboot, and you will find you still in Android 4.1 sistema operativo, no te preocupes, now what you should do is power off the promethues, and then do the above upgrade step again, and then you will find your promethues has been get the Android 4.2 actualizar!

I’ve been using this firmware some time now, and its the best firmware for the prometheus thus far. xbmc (costum release) finaly runs smoothly and doesn’t freeze anymore.
i just download firmware for tronsmart promethues for 4.2.2 but when i put with sdcard and follow above those you guy show. but now my tronsmart just open his blue and red light then nothing happen. i need your guy help. pls send me email.on haiderca@hotmail.com
