How to Root Cubot GT99 MTK6589 Quad Core Smart Phone:
Glad to share with you the Cubot GT99 root method and tool. There are may be many other root tools, but i only upload one of them here, just for our customers get it easily.

Root method:
1. contact the your phone with pc, install the drivers on your pc. turn on the usb debugging
2. open the root tool: run.bat
3. enter any key on your keyboard, it will root your phone automaticly
4. if succeed, it will inform you and reboot the phone

Can this be used for Cubot GT72?
It works! I just rooted my Cubot GT72 with this program.
For all the owners of the Cubot GT72: Make sure you tap many times the last item (comp. number) in settings/phone information in order to enable “USB debbuging” and other developer settings.
try another usb port, or another pc.
Which drivers do you refer to in step 1.There is not a link for the drivers just for the root tool???
