Preparación:
Named the upgrade to “update.zip” and copy it to the TF card or the root directory of PX2’s internal memory.

1. Insert TF card into PX2, press volume+ key and power key to enter recovery model, como se muestra a continuación:

3. Press volume- llave，select “wipe data/factory reset” opción, and press volume+ key to enter the interface like the following picture:
select “YES—eliminar todos los datos del usuario”, press volume+ key to format
4. After formatting, press volume- key to do the following operations, choose the “update.zip” firmware and press volume+ key to confirm, then you will enter the following interface:
5.Select “update.zip” file option and press volume+ key to confirm the upgrade, the whole upgrade process will be like the following picture:
6. Después de actualizar, you will see the following picture:
7. After finishing upgrade, you can choose “reboot system now” and press volume+ key to confirm it.

Hi where did you get this firmware update from? Is it from Freelander? What updates does it have over the current one? Freelander PX2 is a great phablet 🙂 Snappy Value for Money!
Also under the settings for Freelander PX2’s Android 4.2.1 there is an option for local update. I just did that. However I’m still not sure what this firmware update will do. Could you let us know?
