How to ROOT NEO G4 / ネオX5?

Before you start this instruction,please make sure you have read the following:

1 This root method works on Neo G4 と Neo X5. both of them!

2 Please make sure to confirm the Android OS Version for your NEO G4 or Neo X5, because different android os has different root method;

ROOT Method for Android 4.0 ICS Neo G4 / ネオX5:

1. Download Moborobo (Phone Management Software) directly here:moborobosetup_v2.0.7.501(moborobo_en_official).exe or grab the latest version here: moborobo.com/download/
2. Download a modified version ofSuperOneClick – Short Fuse.
3. Install Moborobo and start the program
4. Make sureUSB Debugging is enabled on your tablet (設定 –> 開発者向けオプション)
5. Connect your MINIX device (X5, G4, 等) to your PC via the OTG port (micro USB port)
6. Wait for Moborobo to detect the device and install the drivers
7. If you have problems during the installation e.g. your minix g4/x5 isn’t detected, go to設定 > USB > PCに接続します
8. Extract SuperOneClick and run SuperOneClick
9. Click on Root

During the rooting process of the Minix Neo X5 it’s going to warn that the device is already rooted. Simply continue…

Done.

Besides rooting it installsbusybox とSuperUser on your Minix computer. Useful tools by the way…

ROOT Method for Android 4.1 NEO G4/NEO X5:

1. Download Moborobo (Phone Management Software) directly here:moborobosetup_v2.0.7.501(moborobo_en_official).exe or grab the latest version here: moborobo.com/download/
2. Install Moborobo and start the program
3. Make sureUSB Debugging is enabled on your tablet (設定 –> 開発者向けオプション)
4. Connect your MINIX device (X5, G4, 等) to your PC via the OTG port (micro USB port)
5. Wait for Moborobo to detect the device and install the drivers
6. If you have problems during the installation e.g. your minix g4/x5 isn’t detected, go to設定 > USB > PCに接続します
7. ダウンロードtpsarky-vondroid-root.zip and unpack.
8. Run TPSparkyRoot.bat and follow the instructions. (It restarts your device 3 回)
9. オプション: インストールSuperSU/SuperUser/BusyBox from Play Store. (If not installed in the previous step)

This process installs also the app “root explorer”. You can delete stock apps etc. (Be careful!)
