Since it is the first to try android 4.2.2 on rk3066 device, so this is just beta version, we are very glad to hear all of the feedback from you guys. and we will contact factory to make it better.

Full signal in mk808b stock firmware
バージョン 1.6 mk808b signal shows only 1 bar & that too sometimes.
バージョン 1.7 mk808b signal now worse than version 1.6 & not at all connecting to wifi. Even though wifi router is just side to it.

Currently I’m on fineless 1.6 custom rom & wifi signal are mostly times 1 bar or zero.

This is just for MK808, not MK808B, they use different chipset, so you should go back to mk808b stock firmware, and just wait patience for the official mk808b android 4.2 アップグレード.

Looks like there is a problem with the Netflix app after the 4.2 アップデート. I did a full reset on the MK808 before loading the new firmware and then installed the Netflix app. Menus load fine, but when you try to play a video, there is no audio and the screen is all garbled. Looks like maybe the device is trying to use some hardware acceleration that is not supported or something when using the Netflix app?

After discovering the Netflix problem, I wiped the MK808 and installed the Finless 1.7c ROM. I found that Netflix (same version – 2.1.2) works fine on the finless 1.7c, so it seems like the problem is specific to the 4.2.2 ベータ. Hope this helps!

According to Rockchip they have added support for Miracast in the Android 4.2.2 for RK3066/3188. Is Miracast available in theses beta ROMs?

I bought mk808 in geekbuying.com. When I plug in, nothing was in TV (no signal?), there was only blue light on device. Does update helps me ? or a must wait for new device ?
You can try to downgrade the system to Android 4.1 and you will get signal on your Tv.
what about me,you didn,t answered to me about the screen saver issue.The mk808 that you are selling is potentialy dangerous to the tv it leaves a remanent picture on the screen if there is no screen saver .the mk 808 should not be sold if you have no solution to this problem .people will ruin their tv if there is no screen saver.answer my questions.!

Hi I bought MK808 and trying to use it with my asix chipset based USB Ethernet, although the ethernet is seen, there’s no packet transport with a message in the dmesg output claiming about some misaligned buffers to 4-bytes.
So I would like to either obtain a kernel module with the up to date driver or would like to compile the new module in ASIX website myself. But for that, I need the kernel source or at least the kernel headers and configuration. Where can I find it?

Hi i just finished making some custom rom for the mk808 it is the same rom as above the diference is that it has more app space,the stock firmware had 1,5gb internal storage , 4,5gb nand flash and 1 gb for android system,i have decompailed the image ,moded the parameter file to 2 gb internal storage,4,5 gb nand flash and the 1 gb partition for android system i shrinked it to 500mb since the image file is492 mb it will fit in.Hope you like the rom.
