マイクロSDカードによるアップグレード方法:
1.zip/rarファイルを解凍します,コピー 3 ファイル(109k4.zip,recovery.img,factory_update_param. aml) to TF card Root directory;
2.Insert the micro sd card to Mk808b plus, go to find a toothpick and press the reset button
リセットボタンを押した後, power on the MK808B PLUS.
3.わかりました,更新プロセスになります.

FYI,
Reset button doesn’t work. I updated using settings->Other->System Update and selected the file from external sd card.
Please upload the new ROM to a proper WORKING mirro . I’m trying for two day to download it. どうもありがとうございます。 !

こんにちは, I can’t update my MK808B plus that I have just received. I tried the 2 methods but I still have errors:
with SD Card method when I push the Reset Button, the stick stay blocked on the Google TV LOGO
with USB Burning Tool, The error occurs during the “Meson” phase at 3% and I have to stop the update.
Somebody could help me please?

Finally I solved my issues yesterday:
For updating using SD Card: I didn’t use the good power port. In fact I powered the stick using the OTG port (Not good !! ). Be sure you are using the power supply port. The OTG port is only usable for connection with computer.
For updating using the tool: Use the latest version of usb burning tool provided by geekbuying (on the top of the page). Version provided by chinagadgetsreviews is not compatible. In this case you have to use the OTG port to connect to the computer.
Hope this experience will help noobs like me. Good Luck !!

I got the same issue with the google tv logo. Now it won’t power on and the usb burning tool won’t detect it when I plug in to the PC
Anyone have any suggestions?
Dont forget to press the reset button when you plug the OTG cable (do not use the power port)
Thanks Fabien, I tried that, didn’t help. The PC doesn’t seem to know it’s connected. Tried 2 different PCs but no luck. Very annoying, it’s only a couple of days old 🙁

We are buying 10K+ quantity of the 808B Plus quad core processor with Android 4.4 and are having a problem controlling the volume of a usb connected Hifimediy ESS Sabre DAC. It plays the music fine but it either turns it on or off without any levels of volume.
You can adjust the volume of the system audio but the music volume cannot be adjusted.
It works fine on the older 808B (non Plus) dual core running Android 4.2.2. Can you please tell me if this is a known problem and if there is a fix? ありがとう. ダグラス douglas@mozaex.com
I am having an issue with Google Play Movies and TV and Crackle…..crackle may be the app it self…it doesn’t even start properly. They both work on a custom rom. Can you pass along to the manufacturer please.
I purchased this hoping to be able to use with a usb keyboard and mouse. The usb mouse works fine, albiet crippled to have right mouse be the same as esc. 不幸にも, I haven’t been able to get a usb keyboard to work with it. The keyboard works great on my nexus phone and on the Q8 that I bought and it worked fine on a Q7 before I bricked it.
Is there somewhere buried a setting that will allow usb keyboard use? I have turned external keyboard on already. If it is not in the settings, is there a driver that I can install that will do the trick? TJ
I am trying to use Google remote app to control this stick, but it complains it don’t work. Isn’t it compatible?
For those who have issues in upgrading the rom from 107k4 to 109k4 by using the sd card method, use the recovery.img file from the 107k4 rom. This worked for me. Hope this helps.
This worked for me too. I powered by OTG port; i have not tryed by the normal power port. Don’t forget… hold the reset button, then power-up and wait for update begins.

sd card by following the installation instructions that come in rar, the update would not start, so I used the “USB burn tool” and managed to install the rom now although it is not 100%, I have wifi and already can not use the Kodi, this rom has no root, and is probably the previous model because the model information says it is the “MK808b” and not the “mk808b plus” I bought,also has problems with the google play store
I expect to emerge something new.
station to start out with some chip rtl8723 and they are to give yet there is no custom firmware problems with this chip
we have to wait for someone to create a new rom for this chip

You suggest to install it with 109k4
But as this post say the same problem is also at 109k4
Any other idea?
