As the CM 11 is not steady right now, you may come across some minor bugs. Following are the details of flash procedures:<\/p>\n<p>STEP1: (Ignore this step if you are already on kitkat stock ROM )<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flash Kitkat stock ROM.<\/li>\n<li>Please make sure your stock ROM&#8217;s path doesn&#8217;t have any space or the name is too long.<\/li>\n<li>Open SP Flash tool and Load the scatter file MT6582_Android_Scatter.txt<\/li>\n<li>Change Download Only to Firmware Upgrade.<\/li>\n<li>Click on Download button and connect your phone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>STEP2: (this step involves flashing of recovery_dg700.img )<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Power off your phone.<\/li>\n<li>Open SP Flash tools and load the Kitkat stock ROM&#8217;s MT6582_Android_Scatter.txt<\/li>\n<li>Now unselect all the options and select only RECOVERY.<\/li>\n<li>Change the Location of RECOVERY to where recovery_dg700.img is located.<\/li>\n<li>Click on Download button and connect your phone.<\/li>\n<li>Wait for the download to complete 100%. You will get an error, just ignore it and disconnect your phone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>STEP3:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Power on your phone and copy the ROM (cm11-dg700-ALPHA1.zip) to your internal SD card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>STEP4:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Power off your phone.<\/li>\n<li>Press and hold VOLUME UP + POWER button until you get a screen with three options.<\/li>\n<li>Use VOLUME UP to select recovery and then press VOLUME DOWN to boot into recovery.<\/li>\n<li>Now your phone will boot into recovery mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>STEP5:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Now in the recovery mode use VOLUME UP and DOWN to Navigate and POWER button for OK.<\/li>\n<li>Select Wipe and Format Options -&gt; Clean to Install a New ROM.<\/li>\n<li>Wait for the procedure to complete.<\/li>\n<li>After it&#8217;s done, use the Smart Key to back to main menu.<\/li>\n<li>In the main screen, select Install Zip -&gt; Choose zip from \/storage\/sdcard0 and then select the copied ROM zip file.<\/li>\n<li>Then the ROM will install and after you are done, click on Reboot system now on the main recovery screen.
