Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 4<\/a>, the first phone to offer MIUI 8 out of the box. Redmi Note 4 comes with a full metal unibody design with CNC chamfered edges. The smartphone will be going on sale in two variants \u2014 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM, and the 64GB variant with 3GB of RAM. The new Redmi Note 4 will be available in dark grey, silver and gold colors, and will be going on sale from August 26.<\/p>\n

Design<\/strong><\/p>\n

The front of the Redmi Note 4 is equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD display that is covered with a 2.5D curved glass panel.\u00a0While, the back cover of the Redmi Note 4 retains the premium full metal unibody construction that was introduced with its predecessor, but now comes with a brushed metal finish and chamfered edges that looks and feels even better. Redmi Note 4 also coming with a fingerprint scanner on the back.<\/p>\n

The display is a 5.5 inch 1080p unit with a claimed maximum brightness of 450 nits, contrast ratio of 1000:1, and sunlight display technology similar to Apical\u2019s Assertive Display which improves outdoor visibility beyond what you might expect from a display of that brightness. Even under harsh sunlight, you’ll be able to view directions as you navigate through the city. Browsing your news feed at night is more comfortable with Night Display, or switch to Reading mode to reduces blue light emissions and prevent eye strain.<\/p>\n
