Before you start this instruction,please make sure you have read the following:<\/p>\n

1 This root method works on Neo G4<\/a><\/strong> and Neo X5<\/a><\/strong>. both of them!<\/p>\n

2 Please make sure to confirm the Android OS Version for your NEO G4 or Neo X5, because different android os has different root method;<\/p>\n

ROOT Method for Android 4.0 ICS Neo G4 \/ NEO X5:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Download Moborobo (Phone Management Software) directly here:MoboroboSetup_V2.0.7.501(Moborobo_En_official).exe<\/a> or grab the latest version here:\u00a0moborobo.com\/download\/<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Download a modified version of\u00a0SuperOneClick \u2013 Short Fuse<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Install Moborobo and start the program<\/li>\n
  4. Make sure\u00a0USB Debugging<\/em> is enabled on your tablet (Settings \u2013> Developer Options<\/em>)<\/li>\n
  5. Connect your MINIX device (X5, G4, etc.) to your PC via the OTG port (micro USB port)<\/li>\n
  6. Wait for Moborobo to detect the device and install the drivers<\/li>\n
  7. If you have problems during the installation e.g. your minix g4\/x5 isn\u2019t detected, go to\u00a0Settings > USB > Connect to PC<\/em><\/li>\n
  8. Extract SuperOneClick and run SuperOneClick<\/li>\n
  9. Click on Root<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    During the rooting process of the Minix Neo X5 it\u2019s going to warn that the device is already rooted. Simply continue\u2026<\/p>\n

    Besides rooting it installs\u00a0busybox<\/a> and\u00a0SuperUser <\/a>on your Minix computer. Useful tools by the way\u2026<\/p>\n

    ROOT Method for Android 4.1 NEO G4\/NEO X5:<\/p>\n

    2. Install Moborobo and start the program<\/li>\n

    8. Run TPSparkyRoot.bat and follow the instructions. (It restarts your device 3 times)<\/li>\n
    9. Optional: Install\u00a0SuperSU<\/a>\/SuperUser\/BusyBox from Play Store. (If not installed in the previous step)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      This process installs also the app \u201croot explorer\u201d. You can delete stock apps etc. (Be careful!)<\/p>\n
