{"id":4917,"date":"2013-01-07T17:43:25","date_gmt":"2013-01-07T09:43:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.geekbuying.com\/geekgiz\/?p=4917"},"modified":"2013-01-07T17:43:25","modified_gmt":"2013-01-07T09:43:25","slug":"tronsmart-prometheus-new-firmware-add-usb-camera-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.geekbuying.com\/geekgiz\/2013\/01\/tronsmart-prometheus-new-firmware-add-usb-camera-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Tronsmart Prometheus New Firmware add USB Camera Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi guys:<\/p>\n<p>We just get new update from Tronsmart. the new firmware download link:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sendspace.com\/file\/e0ru4m\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">http:\/\/www.sendspace.com\/file\/e0ru4m<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Changelog: Add USB Camera support, we tested with Logitech C170 Webcam. \u00a0now you can do <strong>skype video chat<\/strong> with Tronsmart Prometheus!<\/p>\n<p>Firmware Update instruction:<\/p>\n<p>Please Notice: Make sure your USB Camera is connected with your Prometheus, \u00a0and during the update, please do not disconnect your webcam.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1 Download firmware from the above link;<\/p>\n<p>2 Decompress the file, and you will get 4 files<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogimage.geekbuying.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/upodate-file-tronsmart.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"upodate file tronsmart\" src=\"https:\/\/blogimage.geekbuying.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/upodate-file-tronsmart.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"570\" height=\"101\" \/><\/a>3\u00a0Put these 4 files(don\u2019t open zip file) in root of your SD card, Use a paperclip inserts to press the reset key which is at back side of the Android TV Box and hold it.<\/p>\n<p>4 Power on the Android TV Box (connect the AD adapter with device), wait for blue Led flash 3 times then release reset key.<\/p>\n<p>5 System will automatically upgrade.( Make sure power is not interrupted during the upgrading process.<\/p>\n<p>6 After 3-5 mins, device will be reboot after upgrading .(Check the software version in setting-&gt; about media player.
