Tronsmart give me their new update after the new year holiday, this update make the XBMC working well with 1080P hardware decoding<\/strong>! also this firmware come with rooted<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

In the download file, it includes the XBMC prometheus version, you should flash the newest firmware first, and then install this prometheus XBMC, and then you can enjoy your TV BOX!<\/p>\n

Here is the firmwware upgrade guide:<\/p>\n

1. Open the download folder;
\n2. you will get below 5 files.
\n3. Put these 5 files (don\u2019t open zip file) in root of your SD card, then follow below upgrading method,
\n(1) Use a paperclip inserts to press the reset key which is at back side of the Android TV Box and hold it;
\n(2) Power on the Android TV Box (connect the AD adapter with device), wait for blue Led flash 3 times then release reset key;
\n(3) System will automatically upgrade. (Make sure power is not interrupted during the upgrading process);
\n(4) Device will be reboot after upgrading. (Check the software version in setting-> about media player. You will see it).<\/p>\n

More news from them, the Tronsmart Prometheus<\/a><\/strong> will get Android 4.2 update<\/strong> in next week,and that update will solve the AC3 and DTS problem, which will make this prometheus tv box perfect.<\/p>\n
