PAY ATTENTION PLEASE! You have some choices to make!
\nEverything in my older 1.0 ROM is here but I added some features for you all.<\/p>\n

1) I enabled the lock screen. I did not do this in my 1.0 ROM but I had actually made the code change
\nand just did not include it in my 1.0 ROM. It is now included and you have full control of it in settings!
\nWhy Minix left the menu choice in settings yet did not enable it, is a BUG in my opinion.
\nMANY people say they want this to keep their kids from using the device without parental guidance.
\nMINIX…. If you read this DO NOT REMOVE IT! Just make it work next time. I hate making decompiled .smali code changes\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

2) Airpin. I am not a Airpin\/Airplay person but it is in this ROM.
\nProps to Minix for adding it for those that want it. However for those that do not, sorry… PAIN and performance hit! If your NOT into Airplay, etc then removing this does help performance based on WHAT YOU NEED your X5 to do.<\/p>\n

HOWEVER, I give you the option to not have it pre-installed or running as a service.
\nNOTE: I have NOT pulled out the APK or changed how Minix implemented the pre-install!!!!!
\nThus I am not changing any copyright agreement or distribution change. It works the same!<\/p>\n

BUT to use my ON\/OFF capability you must follow the instructions when flashing the ROM!
\nI have given you several boot.img files to choose from. What you choose will decide if Airpin gets installed or not!
\nSee below under flashing instructions!<\/p>\n

3) How about a TRUE 1080 kernel? Well I give you that now too!
\nYES it is the EXACT SAME kernel as provided with this minix release and all I have done is patched it to 1080 resolution! NOTHING ELSE… It’s just a 1080 enabled kernel.
\nSo please do not think I have sources etc. So PLEASE don’t ask for other kernel changes!
\nI also want you to understand that even though I give you a TRUE 1080 kernel, do not expect the same performance. The hardware now was to draw a LOT more pixels and thus Antutu or other benchmarks will show a lower score. So this is a option for you to try. Depending on what you use your device for, you may love it, or hate it!<\/p>\n

Commentary:
\nThere is a reason NONE of these TV players based on RK3066 do not support 1080 fully by the kernel!
\nThe hardware really cannot handle it without extreme over clocking and thus USER MODIFIED cooling of the processor. So, for those that want to mod their devices and add a heatsink with fan, etc and overclock to the max… The 1080 kernel may just float your boat\u00a0\"\"
\nFYI, these kernels ARE unlocked so you CAN overclock them…
\nBUT BE CAREFUL, without hardware mods to add cooling YOU WILL FRY YOUR DEVICE!<\/span><\/p>\n

OK so on with the stuff I add to all my ROMs like the 1.0 ROM.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1) Gameloft fix. This fixes Gameloft games from crashing to the desktop.
\nMany of them do not run and crash to the desktop. This is due to a license check based on the device.
\nSpecial thanks to Christian Troy for inventing this fix. I modded it for this ROM.<\/p>\n

2) Rockchip released a updated libstagefright.so to try and fix HW decoding issues in XBMC.
\nI have added this.

3) Build.prop edit to open up the Google Play store to APPs that normally say “not compatible”.
\nI am spoofing a Samsung device that will show almost any APP as compatible.
\nYour device will show up in google play as NOT a Minix device! Understand this please.
\nI also left the original buiild.prop in the ROM called build.orig.
\nIf you want to go back, just use ES or a root file explorer and rename build.prop to build.old
\nThen rename build.orig to build.prop.
\nGo into settings, apps, all and go into the Google Play app. Clear the cache and data.
\nReboot! You should be back to showing up as a Minis Nexo X5.<\/p>\n

4) System is now real EXT4.<\/p>\n

5) Full init.d support! If you do not know what that is… ignore it. For geeks that want to use it. It is there!<\/p>\n

6) I added Xbox360 keylayout to fix some games and camera spin with xbox 360 controller. Per this post here:

7) I debloated the ROM for CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN.
\nThis includes removing some of the live wallpapers, china apps, etc.
\nI also removed some basic Google Apps like Chrome etc. Here is why.
\nAs system APPs when they get updated it leaves the old APP in system and puts the update in \/data
\nThat leaves JUNK around forever. So why have Google Apps as system APPs when you can install them
\nand update them all the time? Makes no sense. So I cleaned this stuff out too.
\nHere is what was removed and all of these can be installed from Google Play or side loaded:
\nChrome.apk
\nGmail
\nPinyinIME.apk
\nGalaxy4.apk
\nHoloSpiralWallpaper.apk
\nMagicSmokeWallpapers.apk
\nPhaseBeam.apk
\nVideoEditor.apk
\ntuzi.apk
\nIn my ROM kit is a APP folder. Feel free to copy whatever you want back into \/system\/app if you want them back!<\/p>\n

8) Two boot.img and kernel.img setups. One set to support 720P boot and another for 1080P boot.
\nSee instructions below under flashing to use them. This flash kit is setup by default to use 720P WITH NO Airpin installed!
\nIf you want 1080P or 1080 with Airpin again see the instructions below.
\nNOTE: The boot animation on 1080P kernel will not be full screen. This is normal!
\nI don’t want to make 2 large system.img files to support both resolutions.<\/p>\n

9) All APPs in \/system have been updated including Play Store and Framework.
\nSo on first boot and login to Google Play, Nothing should need to be updated.<\/p>\n

10) I added a reboot APP that will allow optional reboot options like reboot to bootloader (flash mode), CWM, etc.
\nHOWEVER… in this ROM Minix added in Setting>developer options>Fastboot.
\nThis does the same thing as the reboot APP “reboot to bootloader”. It basically puts you into ROM flash mode!
\nI just feel the reboot APP I added is faster and works. Also the minix basic “reboot” they added DOES NOT WORK FOR ME!
\nThis reboot APP I added does. If you don’t want the Reboot APP I added, just remove it from \/system\/app<\/p>\n

11) Of course this is fully rooted and Superuser. I also updated Busybox to a version I prefer.
\nThis is to support init.d
\nYou can however update busybox to the latest and greatest from Google Play if you wish.<\/p>\n

12) Remote Control using RK Remote APP is now fully supported!
\nIn the ROM kit is a RKRemoteControl.apk.
\nYou install this on your phone or tablet and now it can remotely control your TV player!
