(most of the models is coming from Geekbuying \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>So today, our friends <strong>Leolas <\/strong>bring us the custom rom for <a title=\"imito qx1 \" href=\"http:\/\/www.geekbuying.com\/item\/US-Plug-IMITO-QX1-Google-Android-4-22-Quad-Core-RK3188-ARM-Cortex-A9-1-6GHz-Mini-PC-TV-Box-2G-8G-BT-Silvery-315799.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iMito QX1<\/a>, so if you have the imito qx1 in your hand, prepare to flash this custom rom<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>What have this rom?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>-Storage size for apps Increased to 2Gb.<br \/>\n-Custom kernel with frame skipping issue solved.<br \/>\n-De-bloated.<br \/>\n-Rooted with SuperSU and the last busybox installed.<br \/>\n-Init.d Support.<br \/>\n-After the first boot, it will install cwm recovery automatically. So  you can make nandroid backups and install future updates, kernels or  other roms in this easy way. This rom will be upgraded by cwm, so no  need to connect to PC the stick to upgrade  to future versions, I will  make cwm flashable files for Bob Finless roms too, so  when he release  his rom you will can install it by cwm too.<br \/>\n-Some tweaks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">How to install it?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is 2 ways:<br \/>\n1.If you have Leolas <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freaktab.com\/showthread.php?6316-leolas-qx1-rom-1-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previous rom<\/a> installed:<br \/>\nYou have cwm installed, so only download this zip:<a href=\"http:\/\/cloud.freak-tab.de\/public.php?service=files&amp;t=170b1863b54a6c2b57735d4b9a1ca0f8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">http:\/\/cloud.freak-tab.de\/public.php&#8230;735d4b9a1ca0f8<\/a><br \/>\n-Use the reboot app to enter cwm recovery.<br \/>\n-Make a backup of your current rom. (make a backup before flash a update is allways a good idea, but you can omit this step)<br \/>\n-Select <em>wipe cache partition<\/em>.<br \/>\n-Select <em>advanced<\/em> and then <em>wipe dalvick cache<\/em><br \/>\n-Select<em> install zip from sdcard<\/em>.<br \/>\n-Select <em>choose zip from sdcard<\/em> or Select<em> choose zip from external sd<\/em> (if you have the zip in the external sdcard)<br \/>\n-Navigate to the folder where you download the zip.<br \/>\n-Install it. The process will last some minutes, so please be patient  and don\u00b4t turn off the stick until the upgrade is complete.<br \/>\n-Using this way you will preserve your apps installed and your settings  (If you feel the system launch FC or something dont work in a right way,  then you must go to cwm recovery again and select wipe data\/factory  reset and you will lose your apps and settings installed, but usually  erase data is not necessary)<br \/>\n2.<br \/>\nDownload the file:<a href=\"http:\/\/cloud.freak-tab.de\/public.php?service=files&amp;t=d59c26e265c604e0f61f3160e782e7a5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">http:\/\/cloud.freak-tab.de\/public.php&#8230;1f3160e782e7a5<\/a><br \/>\nYou need a windows machine.<br \/>\n-Power off the stick completely.<br \/>\n-Press the reset button and while is pressed connect the microusb to the  OTG port, dont release the reset button until windows detect your  stick.<br \/>\n-Install the proper driver for your OS if you dont have them installed yet. You can obtain them from:<a href=\"http:\/\/cloud.freak-tab.de\/public.php?service=files&amp;t=65e93f4740426abfb3fb85f0987122db\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">http:\/\/cloud.freak-tab.de\/public.php&#8230;fb85f0987122db<\/a><br \/>\n-Open RKAndroidTool.exe.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.freaktab.com\/attachment.php?attachmentid=2953&amp;d=1376269284\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.freaktab.com\/attachment.php?attachmentid=2953&amp;d=1376269284\" \/><\/p>\n<p>-Follow the steps in the picture. Be sure that you are in loader mode: Found RKAndroid Loader Rock Usb.<br \/>\n1.-Select the files to be flashed the are in the folder leolas-rom-QX1.<br \/>\n2.-Select the squares in the left like in the screenshoot.<br \/>\n3.-Click Erase IDB.<br \/>\n4.-Click Run.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><strong>When the process finalize, dont  unplug the stick yet, wait 5 minutes, the device will reboot in the  stock recovery and install the cwm recovery. Very important to wait some  minutes, if not the device will not work properly, and bootloops or  blank screen can happend.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Leolas also offer the following kernels for you, if you need to try 1080p firmware, just flash the kernel you need.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/cloud.freak-tab.de\/public.php?service=files&amp;t=c96d246ce0816a91fb2d1e3680222bed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">Kernel Download Link<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The kernel included are:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">&#8211; 720p-basic.img kernel with frame skipping fix,720p and at stock speed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">&#8211; 1080p-basic.img kernel with frame skiping fix, 1080p and stock clock speed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">&#8211;  720p-cpu1800ram1300.img&amp;1080p -cpu1800ram1300.img kernel with frame  skipping fix, cpu oc 1800 and ram oc 1300, it is a little overclocked,  in my test they are safe and stable.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">&#8211;  720p-cpu1896ram1500gpu798.img&amp;1080p-cpu1896ram1500gpu798.img this  kernels have a moderate overclock, I test them and works very well for  me, but no all devices can overclock the same.
