Questions & Answers
FAQ
1. How to clean the automatic feeding pipeline of M7 Pro?
Under normal circumstances, the small amount of residual resin (regular resin ≤10ml) in the automatic discharging module after automatic discharging will not significantly affect subsequent resin replacements. If you plan to use a resin-like transparent resin, which can be affected by residual resin, we recommend preparing an empty resin bottle with some alcohol solution. Then, click on the automatic feeding/discharging function. The alcohol solution will help remove the residual resin from the feeding module, allowing you to switch to a new resin for printing.
2. What are the Print Dimensions of the M7 Pro?
Length/Width/Height: 223.642 126.48 230mm
3. What is the Printing Accuracy of the Machine?
X: 16.8 μm, Y: 24.8 μm, Z: 0.01 mm
4. What is the Resolution of the LCD Screen?
13312*5120 (10.1-inch 14K screen)
5. Do I Need to Turn Off the M7 Pro After Printing?
If you do not need to print another model, you can turn off the machine. Additionally, use the automatic loading device to recycle the resin into the resin bottle or use a filter funnel to recycle the resin to prevent sedimentation in the resin tank, which can affect print quality.
6. How to Load Resin into the Resin Tank?
1. Wear a mask and gloves (avoid direct skin contact with the resin). Do not exceed the maximum scale line (MAX line) when pouring resin into the tank.
2. Use the automatic loading device to load resin (for standard resin at 25℃, it takes about 7 minutes to reach the MAX line).
7. Can Automatic Loading and Air Purification Functions be Used Simultaneously?
Currently, only one function can be used at a time as they share a single USB power interface. To separately turn off the purifier while using it, switch to air purification mode in advanced settings and press the button to turn it off.
8. How to Handle Bubbles on the Floating Platform Sticker?
The floating platform sticker is used to isolate the resin and prevent it from seeping into the machine if the release film is damaged. Minor bubbles are normal and do not affect printing, so you can use it with confidence.
9. How to Deal with Uneven Surface Patterns on the Bottom of Printed Vases or Smooth Surfaces?
This occurs due to noticeable changes in release force, affecting surface quality. The texture at the bottom results from the platform lifting from the resin surface. Increase the single-layer exposure time to stabilize the resin area before printing.
10. How to Handle Resin Splashing Out of the Resin Tank During Printing?
This happens due to vacuum suction during printing, which causes excessive release force. You can solve this by drilling holes to reduce the vacuum effect.
11. How to Deal with Color Mixing When Switching Resin with Automatic Loading?
Use an empty bottle filled with alcohol and clean it using the loading/unloading function in the advanced settings.
12. What Resins are Compatible with the Automatic Loading System?
The system supports a maximum loading time of 10 minutes and is compatible with resins with a viscosity of ≤7000 cps.
13. What Resins are Compatible with the Heated Resin Tank?
The heating system supports a maximum heating time of 25 minutes and is compatible with resins with a viscosity of ≤9000 cps.
14. How to Troubleshoot USB Recognition Issues?
1. This issue is likely caused by the USB drive. Format the USB drive to FAT32 or use a new USB drive with a capacity of 32GB or less. File names should be in Chinese, English, or numbers without special characters.
2. Ensure the sliced file format is correct. The Photon Mono M7 Pro recognizes slice files with the extension .pwsz.
15. How to Handle Models Not Sticking to the Platform?
1. Clean the platform with alcohol to remove any debris. It is recommended to clean the platform promptly after each use to prevent debris from sticking.
2. Re-slice the model and adjust the print parameters by increasing the bottom exposure time by 10 seconds and the bottom layer count by 5 layers. Adjust these parameters based on the model's size, weight, and contact area with the platform.
16. How is the Leveling Function of the M7 Pro Achieved?
Traditional SLA printers adjust the platform height to eliminate discrepancies with the screen. The M7 Pro isolates the screen component, connecting it to the upper base with flexible parts. During platform lowering, the flexible parts deform to ensure a tight fit. The M7 Pro quantifies leveling by detecting pressure between the platform and screen components, starting the print once the preset pressure is reached.
17. How Does the M7 Pro Resin Detection Work?
During printing, the M7 Pro uses mechanical sensors to detect the change in force when the platform contacts the resin, determining the resin height. It compares this with the required resin amount for the print to ensure sufficient resin. Note that additional resin (100ml more than the model requirement) is needed due to adhesion on the tank and platform.
18. How is High-Speed Printing Achieved in the M7 Pro?
High-speed printing is achieved through energy upgrades, the third-generation fast-release film, and optimized motion control:
1. Energy is increased by 60% compared to the M5 series, reducing layer print time.
2. The release film reduces the risk of model breakage during high-speed lifting, achieving high-speed, high-success-rate detachment.
3. The acceleration lock is opened to reduce time loss during lifting and lowering.
