Questions & Answers
FAQ
Q1: What is the size of the charging stand? How much space do I need to install it?
A: The size of the charging stand is 422*504*420mm. When installing, please ensure that there are 0.5 meters on both sides, 1.5 meters in front, and more than 1 meter above the space.
Q2: How much garbage can the self-cleaning charging stand hold?
A: The dust bag capacity is 2.5L, which can meet the needs of ordinary households for up to 1-2 months in normal use. When there is too much garbage, the dust bag should be replaced regularly every month.
Q3: Does the charging stand need to be connected to WiFi or Bluetooth?
A: The base station does not need to be connected to the network, but in order to obtain a better experience of the sweeping robot, please place the base within a good range of WiFi signal coverage.
Q4: Does the self-cleaning charging stand automatically collect dust or do I need to do it manually?
A: The base station supports automatic dust collection, manual button dust collection, and remote APP manual dust collection. You can turn the automatic dust collection function on or off in the APP. When the sweeping robot is on the base, you can click the robot vacuum recharge button or use the APP to collect dust manually. Press any button during dust collection to stop dust collection.
Q5: How strong is the suction of the charging stand? Is it noisy when collecting dust?
A: The suction power of the base station is about 27000Pa/27Kpa. When collecting dust, the garbage in the dust box is sucked out with strong suction, so there may be a slightly loud sound, about 85dB (A), but the dust collection time is short.
Q6: Can the base station use a cleaning solution?
A: The base can be used with the Roborock specially equipped floor cleaning fluid. Our cleaning fluid is specially customized for robot vacuum cleaners. It adopts a low-foam and mild formula, which can effectively inhibit bacteria and decontaminate, and is effective on hard floors. Good deep cleaning ability, enhance the glossy texture of hard floors after cleaning. If you use other disinfectants such as Dettol and 84, it may cause corrosion of the water system and is not recommended.
Q7: Can I add unofficial cleaning solutions?
A: No, unofficial cleaning solutions may corrode water tanks, waterways, sensors, etc., causing serious malfunctions in the robot. Please add official cleaners according to the amount.
Q8: How much cleaning solution is added each time?
A: Add three-quarters of the bottle cap (about 15ml) of cleaning solution to each water tank.
Q9: Why does the robot wash the mop first when recharging?
A: The robot will intelligently judge whether it is necessary to wash the mop before recharging. If you short press the recharge button of the robot or click "Start Recharge" on the App during mopping, the robot will wash the mop first and then recharge to keep the mop clean. This is a normal phenomenon, please feel free to use it.
Q10: Why are there water stains in the base station?
A: In order to ensure product quality, each Roborock robot vacuum cleaner will undergo a water test before leaving the factory. There may be a small amount of residual water in the base, which is a normal phenomenon. Please use it with confidence.
