Velda UV-C Unit 55 W

This UV-C is equipped with a number of useful features. Thanks to the transparent screw cap, the PL UV-C lamp can be safely monitored without subjecting the eyes to harmful UV-C radiation. For your safety, the ballast has been equipped with a special power off function. When you replace the UV-C lamp, the ballast will switch off automatically when removing the the lamp. The lamp has been further developed to improve its effective light output and its operating life by about 30 % compared to the previous models. The unit is used with filtration systems which have a separate compartment so the UV-C radiation does not come into contact with the filter material. To achieve the full benefits of this UV-C unit, the quartz glass should be cleaned at least 3 times a year. Note: This UV-C 55 W unit is compatible with Clear Control 75 and 100 filtering systems.
