Minix just release a new stock firmware for their popular NEO X7 modelo, this firmware called 007 versión, let’s check what is the changelog:
1.) 1080p video overlay self-detection applied; (works on stock player, MX player, etc.…)
2.) Improved video playback quality;
3.) Removed Google search bar on Launcher screen;
4.) New NEO A2 airmouse audio setting and key logic applied;
5.) Updated MINIX launcher;
6.) Introducing new manual hide/show system bar feature by long pressing menu key on remote;
7.) Removed Chrome browser;
8.) Preloaded latest AirPin(PRO), AirDroid and CloudTV app.;
9.) Added NFS support;
10.) Removed GPS satallites setting;
11.) Updated Bluetooth ID and USB device ID;
12.) Added 720p H.265 playback support;

I wonder if it will be possible to update this firmware “OTA” (sobre el aire) instead of upgrading via usb cable and PC windows….
I tried to upgrade the X7using the OTA function in the Settings, Acerca del dispositivo, etc., etc., but no new firmware was available.
In Minix homepage, it written like this in their Q&A page:
5. Will there be support for OTA (Over The Air) upgrades?
Sí. As of the 4.1.1.0117 firmware, this capability has been added for future updates.
So I wonder now, should I wait for OTA firmware or do I must upgrade my X7 the “hard way” using cables and PC ???
