The Beelink GT-R comes in a barebones model without RAM and storage, as well as models that come with 256 or 512 GB NVMe SSDs. Users can add up to 32 GB of RAM and the PCIe 3.0 X4 NVMe storage solution can be complemented with an additional M.2 2280 SATA 3 module, plus a 2.5-inch unit.
It is equipped with the Ryzen 5 3550H quad-core / eight-thread CPU which combines four Zen+ cores (8 threads) clocked at 2.1 - 3.7 GHz with a Radeon RX Vega 8 graphics card with 8 CUs (512 Shaders) clocked at up to 1400 MHz. The integrated Vega 8 GPU can easily handle all four video outputs provided, of which two are HDMI, one is DisplayPort and the other USB-C 3.1 connector that can work as DisplayPort. Port selection also includes six more USB-A 3.0 connectors, a headphone jack and two GbE jacks coupled with Wi-Fi 5. There also is a dual-array mic.
One special feature that is rarely seen on mini PCs is the fingerprint reader placed on the upper lid. With the included software, users can set up fingerprint-secured logins, as well and encrypt important files.
