  Advantages:

  The unit arrived within 3 working weeks of ordering which was an excellent turn around time. Everything worked out of the box and it was quite simple to upgrade the firmware to provide improvements and root access. I have used the iMito also and find this stick to be more responsive. Also as it is in it's infancy compared to the likes of the MK808 series I am hoping for some exciting updates to the device in future.

  Disadvantages:

  For me the main disadvantage lies with the firmware at present. While the updated one preforms better it is missing some crucial elements. xpad.ko is not present by default so if you intend using an xbox 360 controller for example you will need to compile this yourself which is beyond my ability. If geekbuying could provide this file it would be much appreciated as there are a lot of people looking for it.

  Other:

  Overall this is a very nice piece of kit, great service from geekbuying also!
  The icing on the cake would be the xpad.ko module, please geekbuying can you provide this? :D

  Good stick - terrible software as shipped

  Advantages:

  One you install the very fixes, especially the play store, this is a very good tv stick that produces very smooth 1080P video.
  
  Fortunately, updating the firmware is particularly easy with this model.

  Disadvantages:

  The firware it ships with is a joke. You can't install most things from the play store. You can't set your time zone. If you leave 720P mode for 1080P mode the software button to reach the app drawer, home and back all disappear far off screen.
  Even with the fix some sources will not support you a a rooted device (Hulu, Redbox).

  Other:

  Once patched this is definitely better than the iMito MX1, even if the various scores don't show it.
  Nenamark, for example, showed a lower fps after the patched firmware. But the *video* was better.

  Came quite fast once it shipped

  Advantages:

  Freescale has all the docs out so it is OSS friendly

  Disadvantages:

  but the address label was a joke, My Name, City State and Post Code and Phone Number. No mention at all of my Street Address. I had a lot of explaining to do with the post office before they would release the parcel to me!

  Advantages:

  full 1080 support
  A lot smoother then other device in 720 resolution
  quad core cpu
  vivante graphic card with open es3 support
  1080 movies play well

  Disadvantages:

  Cpu running at (996) insted 1.2 Ghz
  1080 Slowdows in adroid desktop mode
  vivante graphic need a lot optimalization at the moment its slower than mali 440MP graphic chip

  Other:

  After installing new firmware system its a lot stable , but there is still a lot to improve like cpu supossed to 1.2 ghz still it not running at full speed (996 Mhz) Vivante Gpu should be a lot better optimized as there is big slowdowns in 1080 resolution durring just browsing the android and few minor bugs but the question is do we gonna get a new android system on it like 4.1 it say on on site that can be upgrade but who knows when.. but i can tell it have a great potencial and i will stick to it as along fanctory will support it

  Works perfectly

  Advantages:

  Very good order processing and delivery from Geekbuying. 6 days del time from Singapore to Sweden.
  The miniPC dongle operates in fullHD, running WLAN w WEP encryption, and Logitech K400 keyboard with
  USB dongle (2,4 GHz). Everythin just works out of the box.

  Just received my Zealz GK802 w/RC11 Air Mouse Remote today January 22, 2013

  Advantages:

  Shipping was fast to the US (18 days). Took it out of the box, plugged it in and wow! It runs smooth and fast. The GK802 plays movies great in many formats. I plugged in a Logitech c260 camera and video was better than I expected. When I plugged in my jump drive to the usb hub the GK802 found all my media and played it with no problem. The music sounded great. The gps and google maps found me with no problem.

  Disadvantages:

  Very little paper work comes with the RC11 and none with the GK802. I feel like I am on my own with very little information online. Little things like trying to move an app from one screen to another is difficult. I just can't figure it out. Also, I can't figure out hot to delete an app that I downloaded and no it is not like on my Android phone.

  Other:
