The timer allows simple, easy installation and programming. Start time, run time and cycle can be set in advance. Run time ranges from 5 secs to 360 minutes, and watering frequency can be set at from 10 secs to 7 days. Additionally, the tap timer also includes a terminal output that can be connected with a rain sensor (delivery included) or moisture sensor(delivery not included). So, the timer skips watering during rainy days or when soil is too wet. It has a built-in rain delay setting and manual control for added convenience. The dust cover is also included for the LCD display. The wired rain sensor can be pluged into water timer, which conserves water by preventing irrigation during or after sufficient rainfall. This rain sensor for water timer can be adjusted for detection of 5 precipitation levels at 3mm, 6mm, 12mm, 19mm, 25mm. Depending on the settings, this sensor will stop the timer if it already has rained enough.
