1. Q: What are the main features of the X1?

A: The Mecpow X1 is a portable ultra-high-speed laser cutting and engraving machine equipped with dual light sources (2W 1064nm infrared laser + 10W 455nm diode laser), suitable for both beginners and professionals. It comes with a protective cover that can be used with a smoke purifier, allowing you to work indoors with peace of mind.

2. Q: What materials is it suitable for?

A: This laser engraving machine is compatible with over 300 materials. Its blue diode laser can engrave wood, leather, acrylic, glass, ceramic, rubber, fabric and slate, while the infrared laser can engrave common metals such as gold, silver, copper, platinum, aluminum and iron. 

Note: Different power settings may affect engraving results. Please refer to the recommended operating parameters before use.

3. Q: How do I switch between the infrared laser and diode laser on the laser engraving machine?

A: You can switch between the infrared laser and diode laser directly via the Mecpow Laser software.

4. Q: How do I connect the machine?

A: Wireless Connection: Enable your phone’s WiFi function and connect to the Wi-Fi named “Mecpow”. Select “Stay connected”. Then open the app and choose “Device Connection” in the settings. 

Wired Connection: Connect the computer to the laser engraving machine using the included USB-C cable.

5. Q: What are the engraving speed and precision?

A: The maximum engraving speed can reach 5000mm/s, which varies with the complexity of the engraving image. The engraving precision can reach 0.001mm, depending on the material and settings. 

6. Q: What software does the X1 require?

A: You can download our proprietary software “Mecpow Laser” or use the third-party software “LightBurn”. However, some features may not be available when using “LightBurn”. For optimal performance, we recommend prioritizing the use of the “Mecpow Laser” software and the “Mecpow” app.

7. Q: Can it be used with engraving machine accessories?

A: It is compatible with Mecpow accessories, including the G5 rotary roller, G1 slide expansion kit and Mecpow smoke purifier.

8. Q: What is the processing area of the X1?

A: The maximum processing area of the Mecpow X1 is 105×105mm, with a maximum engraving height of 110mm. You can also use the G1 slide extension kit to increase the processing area to 370×105mm.
