Shop special dealsThis is a firmware build for the InfoTM X220 tablet, also known as FlyTouch 2, CEM111, WOWpad, SuperPAD, APad GF10 etc.
This is a SD-Card update package that cannot be installed with the Burntool software. It must be installed via SD-Card.
To update, copy (NOT extract) the file update.zip to the root of a FAT32-formatted Micro-SD-Card and put it in the Micro-SD-Card-slot located between the two USB ports.
Then go to the recovery mode menu. How this is done depends on your current
firmware. If your device has firmware version deb-r2.1.1170 or newer
installed then the following should work:
Press and hold both the "Volume -" and "Home" buttons, then turn on the
device. Keep pressing the "Volume -" and "Home" buttons for about 5 seconds.
You should now be in the recovery menu. Pressing the "Volume +" and "Volume -" buttons will switch between the various options, pressing the "Menu" button will choose the selected option.
Choose "apply sdcard:update.zip" and the update will be installed.
You can instantly try to reboot the system, but there is a good chance it won't boot properly. If that happens: Don't panic! Simply access the recovery mode menu again using the instructions above. Select "Wipe Cache Partition", followed by "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" and at last "apply sdcard:update.zip" again. Your device should now properly boot again, but it will be completely factory reset so you will have to enter your registration code again etc. If it still doesn't boot, access the recovery mode menu again and try various other combinations of "Wipe Cache Partition", "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" and "apply sdcard:update.zip". I've read reports from people who had to do this a few times, but sooner or later they were always able to boot.
