A: 1. Remove the leveling knobs from the printer;
2. Take the heated bed off from the printer;
3. Add M4 nuts to each of the screws to lock them in place;
4. Put the bed back on the printer, you should be good to go.
Q2: My Hornet's screen is lighting up but no display, why?
A: 1. Connect the printer to the computer;
2. Use software like Pronterface to connect to the printer;
a. If the temperature is reading correctly and the axis can be controlled by software, the mainboard is good, and LCD could be at fault, proceed to step 3;
b. If the temperature is not reading and the axis cannot be controlled by software, the mainboard is faulty, replace the mainboard;
3. Download the stock firmware from Artillery Official website;
4. Flash the stock firmware and test again; If still no display, or LCD is at fault, replace LCD.
Q3: I have encountered a nozzle-clogging situation, how to deal with it?
A: 1. DO NOT PULL the filament out manually;
2. From the control manual, go to Change Filament -> Unload Filament -> Preheat PLA (or PETG);
3. Wait for the hotend to heat up and unload the filament automatically;
4. While the hotend is hot, remove the 3 screws holding the hotend assembly to the X carriage;
5. You can now access the hotend and change the nozzle or heat break if needed.
Q4: What should I do if my printer cannot read the memory card?
A: 1. Use another memory card to try again;
2. Download SD Memory Card Formatter from
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/, format the card with SD Card Formatter;
a. If the freshly formatted card cannot be read by the printer, the card reader on board is at fault, replace LCD assembly.
