A small multimedia player oriented to streaming, the MECOOL KD2 dongle equips the Amlogic S905Y4. Running on the Android TV 11 and certified by Google, it has the Chromecast system integrated. The RAM is 4GB DDR4 while for storage we have 32GB, a figure that is not bad considering the format of this type of device.
The MECOOL KD2 dongle integrates an AMlogic S905Y4 SoC as a motor, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A35 processors and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU that reaches 850 Mhz.. The SoC incorporates the ARM Cortex-A35 consumption cores, apart from the support for the new AV1 codec coupled with video output up to 4K @ 60fps resolutions. HDR 10, HDR10 +, HLG & Dolby Vision technologies are also compatible.
For wireless connectivity, Wi-Fi aC 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0 are all available. As for connectors , we get a micro USB power port and an HDMI 2.0 video output. The included Bluetooth remote control allows direct access buttons to Prime Video, Spotify, YouTube and Google Play as well as a microphone for voice functions.
