Product Summary
The Anycubic Kobra 4 is a gantry-style FDM 3D printer designed for makers who want fast, quiet printing, reliable first layers and easy setup. Its LeviQ 3.0 system features 49-point auto-leveling and automatic Z-offset correction, while the 260 × 260 × 260 mm PEI spring-steel build plate provides ample space for functional parts and display models. With a recommended printing speed of 300 mm/s and a maximum speed of 600 mm/s, it also supports flow calibration and vibration compensation for improved print quality. The quick-release hardened-steel hotend makes maintenance easier. Multicolor printing and active filament drying are available with the separately sold ACE 2 Pro module.
Highlights
LeviQ 3.0 First-Layer Reliability
The LeviQ 3.0 system features 49-point auto-leveling, automatically measuring the build plate and adjusting the Z-offset to compensate for surface variations. This reduces the need for manual leveling and helps create consistent first layers. Combined with an evenly heated build plate, it provides a more reliable foundation for successful prints.
260 mm Cubed Build Space
With a 260 × 260 × 260 mm build volume, the printer offers plenty of room for taller prototypes, cosplay accessories and household replacement parts without splitting larger models into multiple sections. The PEI spring-steel build plate reaches 100°C, providing reliable adhesion for commonly used materials such as PLA and PETG.
300 mm/s Daily, 600 mm/s Peak
The printer supports a recommended printing speed of 300 mm/s and a maximum speed of 600 mm/s, with acceleration of up to 20,000 mm/s². A Benchy model can be printed in approximately 14 minutes, helping reduce production time and making rapid prototyping more efficient.
Quiet Gantry With Brushless Motors
Four independent brushless motors drive the gantry and extrusion system, with a rated lifespan of at least 5,000 hours. Operating noise is ≤48 dB in standard mode and ≤45 dB in silent printing mode, making the printer suitable for home workspaces and extended printing sessions.
Calibration That Reduces Ghosting
Flow dynamic calibration adjusts extrusion performance according to printing speed, while accelerometer-based vibration compensation detects resonant frequencies and helps reduce ghosting on printed surfaces. Pressure advance support further improves extrusion consistency, balancing high-speed performance with detailed print quality.
AI Camera Monitoring And Recovery
The built-in 720P HD camera enables real-time print monitoring, foreign object detection and print failure detection. Power-loss recovery and filament detection help pause and resume printing when interruptions occur. The ability to skip unfinished or defective objects also allows the remaining models on the build plate to continue printing.
Fifteen-Minute Setup, Flexible Printing Options
The printer is designed for quick assembly and can be ready for its first print in approximately 15 minutes. Its 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen running Kobra OS provides convenient local control, while USB, Anycubic Slicer and the Anycubic app offer flexible printing options.

FAQ
Can this printer do multicolor prints on its own?
No. The official specifications list both multicolor printing and active filament drying as functions that require the ACE 2 Pro module, which is not part of this printer SKU. Single-material printing with PLA, PETG or TPU (95A) works directly out of the configured machine.
How loud is it during printing?
The manufacturer rates noise at 48 dB or below in standard mode and 45 dB or below in silent print mode, so a desk-side or adjacent-room position remains practical during longer jobs.
Which nozzle sizes can be used?
A 0.4 mm hardened-steel nozzle is the standard fitting, with 0.25 mm, 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm options available. The hotend uses a quick-release design, so swapping it does not require rewiring the machine.
Important Notes
- This listing covers the Kobra 4 printer only. Multicolor printing and active filament drying need a separately purchased ACE 2 Pro module.
- TPU (95A) is supported by the printer but is not compatible with the ACE 2 Pro.
- 600 mm/s and 20,000 mm/s² are manufacturer maximum ratings; 300 mm/s and 10,000 mm/s² are the recommended values.
- Noise and lifespan figures are manufacturer ratings measured under their own test conditions, and actual results vary with print settings, materials and room temperature.
