New Motorised Z Axis
The NEJE MAX 4 laser engraver features a new high-precision (0.001 mm) Z axis that allows repositioning within 45 mm. The focal length of each layer can be adjusted in Lightburn software and thicker materials (20-25mm) can be cut automatically and efficiently for each layer by adjusting the height of the Z axis. 750(X)*460(Y)*45(Z) mm engraving surface allows you to set no limits to your creativity.
Industrial Quality Rails
The upgraded NEJE MAX 4 laser engraving machine features industrial-grade rails made of a high-hardness alloy that effectively eliminate machine vibrations and improve machine stability with a mechanical accuracy of 0.01 mm. With the high-resolution NEJE E80 module, it takes only 10 minutes to draw a 300 x 300 mm work of art, and the fine works of art are delicately and surprisingly well executed.

NEJE 4 MAX supports wireless offline engraving and cutting. You can create anything you want in Lightburn, save the file in G-code format, and then use NEJE software to operate the machine wirelessly. Offline work is possible up to a distance of 10 metres.

The panels and frame are precisely interlocked via grooves, while the profiles and linear rails are individually CNC-machined to correct rail flatness, guaranteeing perfect alignment and surface precision.
The Y-axis guide rails are also CNC-corrected to eliminate profile deviations, providing a stable and ultra-precise platform for high-speed, large-format operations.
The brand-new electric Z-axis features 4 high-precision bearings and undergoes rigorous assembly testing.

Is the working frame stable?
The NEJE Max 4 V2 is engineered to achieve 1000mm/s acceleration (with a design target of 100,000mm/s² for both X and Y axes), ensuring smooth and stable motion across all axes through precise CNC craftsmanship and optimized structural design.

How does the A-axis - Rotary work with NEJE Max 4 V2?
The NEJE Max 4 V2 control board features an independent A-axis, allowing it to function as a dedicated rotary axis.
First, I'd like to clarify a common misconception: while the A-axis serves as an independent control interface, you can also configure the Y-axis or Z-axis as rotary axes using LightBurn software.
However, this approach is relatively cumbersome compared to the simplicity and ease of use provided by the dedicated A-axis module.
NEJE offers two rotary axis solutions: NEJE R5 (standard version) NEJE R6 (premium version for users requiring):
Larger diameter workpieces
Tilted surface processing
Higher operational efficiency
The A-axis module is exceptionally user-friendly, controllable via both:
NEJE proprietary software (pre-configured with hardware parameters - simply connect and input your workpiece diameter)
LightBurn software (requires one firmware parameter configuration to match stepper motor precision scaling):

How to use M8, M7, DOOR Extension?
The NEJE series devices support M8, M7, and Door function expansion. We usually use M8 to control automatic air assist, which is used to assist in cutting or protect the lens. It can automatically control the gas supply when the equipment starts and ends. You can connect M8 through a relay switch or electromagnetic air valve. The M7 function can be configured in the Lightburn software and NEJE software to check whether it is enabled. Usually, we use M7 to expand the automatic smoke discharging system, and we usually use relay modules to control the power supply of the smoke discharging equipment. The Door function mainly expands safety functions. NEJE engineers have designed expansion functions for flame sensors, emergency stops, and safety doors. The expansion of the Door function can help prevent safety issues to a certain extent By expanding the interface, you can obtain a more automated device that greatly improves operational efficiency and experience in the actual operation process. (Please select the corresponding voltage air valve according to the input power supply voltage otherwise the functions of the main board M8 and M7 may be damaged)
Can I buy the motorized Z-axis separately?
NEJE currently offers two specifications of electric axes that users can utilize for DIY projects. Additionally, these can be combined with independent control boards to create customized 3D motion frameworks according to individual preferences.
Anything should I do after I assemble the 1030mm extension rod?
If you're accustomed to operating the NEJE software, you can directly modify the firmware parameters in the software settings.
If you're using LightBurn software, you'll need to modify the firmware parameters: set the values to 130and131 in LightBurn.
Additionally, you need to adjust the area parameters in both the Device Settings and Device Configuration menu options.
How do I use the air assist with my module?
At present, the air assist of laser modules is divided into needle tube type and built-in type. The needle tube type helps to increase the outlet pressure, and it is recommended to use AOC air pump as lens protection (because the gas is oil-free and water-free)+high-pressure air pump greater than 30PSI. The needle tube type and built-in air assist are used together, which will reduce maintenance times or even avoid maintenance for the lens. If an air pump with a pressure greater than 30PSI is used separately, the built-in air assist requires the use of a clean air source with an oil-water filtration device, and a high-pressure air pump helps improve cutting efficiency.
Why does using the emergency stop button cause the software to restart twice?

Does NEJE Max4 V2 support Curved surface engraving?
Curved surface carving is a relatively professional CNC function, as it requires you to first create a 3D path file using CAM software. You can execute it through NEJE or Lightburn software.
Which module can work with NEJE Max4 V2?
